SOCIAL PROGRAMME

A number of social events will take place during the conference:

• Walking tour of Georgian Dublin meeting place front gates of Trinity College, (College Green)
  10am. Tour ends at 12 noon (free). http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/, Sunday 6th July
• Official opening reception, Sunday, 6 July
• Conference dinner, Monday evening, 7 July
• Tuesday evening, 8th of July - Traditional music concert by Danú.  Named after a celtic goddess, Danú were formed in 1995 and have since taken the international music scene by storm.  They heve released seven albums to date, performed on hundreds of stages across the world and performed in Brussels to mark the launch of Ireland's EU presidency in 2004.

  The band features musicians from the four corners of Ireland which gives them a unique sound and style.  The band is a fantastic mix of instrumental and vocal virtuosity performed in an energetic show that is like no other.
